The Federal Ministry of Education invites public secondary school teachers handling technical and vocational subjects across Nigeria to apply for  the Technical Teachers Training Programme (TTTP) for a free one Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) aimed at upgrading the skills of secondary school teachers

The PGDE will cover fields such as Technical Education, Vocational Education, Building Technology Education, Business Education, Home Economics & Hospitality, Agricultural Education, Automobile, Computer Science Education, and Electrical/Electronics, among others.

The pilot cohort will be implemented in partnership with six universities: Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Federal University of Technology, Minna, University of Benin, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi and Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo.

Interested and qualified? Go to Federal Government of Nigeria on docs.google.com to apply

  1. Go to: education.gov.ng > click the TTTP link
  2. Read guidelines and complete the form.
  3. Print the completed form.
  4. Attach digital copies of:

  • Letter of appointment
  • Confirmation of appointment
  • First-degree/HND certificate (non-education)
  • State-of-origin certificate

Submit once only-double applications lead to disqualification.
