Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Kano

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and proactive Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Kano.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, supervising production staff, and optimizing manufacturing performance in line with company goals.

Roles And Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the production unit.
Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, cost, and timeline.
Develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure product standards and hygiene are maintained.
Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for production.
Supervise and motivate production staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement solutions.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
Prepare and manage production budgets and resource allocation.

Requirements

B.Sc. / HND in Food Science & Technology, Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a production management role within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
Good understanding of quality control, health, and safety standards.
Proven ability to manage production targets and optimize output.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
